2022 has been yet another watershed year. As the world emerges from the spectre of the pandemic, life has slowly returned to normal as 9-to-5 office work reigns again. I thought I’d have seen the end of work from home and for a period, that appeared to be the case before the return of hybrid arrangements late in the year.
Also after two and a half years of being cooped up in Singapore, it felt good to travel and explore the world once again. And what better way to reignite the wanderlust than to have someone who loves travelling as much by my side. From seeing snow fall for the first time to train strikes that threatened to derail our travel plans, we braved them all.
Things then took a turn for the worse as a work crisis manifested which left a gaping hole for me to fill during an intense period that only grew in intensity over the final months of the year. But amidst the hustle, there were some silver linings as we decided on our forever home and took a step closer to making our future a reality. So, I’m quite sure next year’s will be a monumental one.
