Let’s be honest – I completely failed last year’s New Year’s resolution. Many days, I didn’t get enough quality sleep, and regular exercise? That fell apart within the first few months. I could easily blame work, but that would just be a convenient excuse. So this year, I’m taking a more realistic approach and setting goals that I can actually achieve.
In 2025, I’ll make a conscious effort to bring running back into my weekly routine. It’s been a while since I’ve consistently laced up my running shoes, but thankfully, I’ve managed to squeeze in a few short runs on the weekends during the first couple of weeks of the new year. Hopefully, that momentum sticks.
Speaking of routines, my attempt at maintaining a monthly writing habit has been far from consistent—I only managed a measly five entries throughout all of last year. Again, blaming work would be the easy way out.
Writing has always been something I enjoy, yet I’ve neglected it in recent years. Though January has already come and gone, I’m making it official: in 2025, I will write more. My goal? A minimum of 10 entries. Two down, eight to go.
