Yong Chuan is a thirty-something working class from Singapore. He completed his undergraduate studies in Business Management and has been working in the public service ever since.

A usually reserved person, he can also be free-spoken when engaged on the right issues. Known for being fiercely independent, he thrives in silos but plays well in team settings too.

While he considers himself to be a new-age liberal, he has his moral compass firmly rooted in traditionalistic values. And though a free-thinker, he believes in karma and the cause-effect cycle.

Besides globetrotting, he loves running and playing tennis in his free time. He also has a keen eye for design and cinematography, and enjoys writing the occasional social commentary.
