Life often don’t have a fairytale ending. While things may look fine on the surface, it’s the turbulence underneath that makes life so unpredictable. Because when all seems good and rosy, all it takes is for some event to trigger the underlying turbulence and cause a meltdown. And once this happens, more often than not, it’s a catastrophe.
I used to think I was infallible and could most certainly do no wrong, but of course that was naive thinking. Failing to look out for the signs of a catastrophic meltdown, I callously continue to contribute to the building turbulence. Then suddenly, the flashpoint and the last straw that broke the camel’s back.
Without a strong foundation, things came crumbling down like dominoes. Perhaps it’s the result of attempting to hastily build without laying the groundwork. And on hindsight, it’s indeed a head-first plunge that threw the everything into disarray. Now, it’s time to pick up the pieces and see whether we can rebuild.
