Pain of a different kind

The week was tough with back-to-back missions in a short span of thirty-six hours. The long wait under the unforgiving sun had already drained away much of our vigor and the lack of sleep wasn’t going to help either. But what proved more arduous wasn’t any of these, nor was it the carrying of the signal set.

It was the ulcers on my gums and lips that persistently bugged me throughout the week. The pain it has caused is far more enduring than any of the physical stuff that we had to go through. It was and still is an emotional torment every waking minute. It’s been a week already and still, it hasn’t shown any signs of healing.

To make matters worse, I’ve been hit by a sore throat which makes swallowing a painful experience. I just hope I recover well and fast enough.

Signals is super slack, lots of lectures, computer learning etc., even got free CCNA1 and 2 to take lol… you should have been posted to Signals.

Haha, but at least they are healed now! 😀 Maybe I exaggerated a bit too much..lol

Anyway, I also can’t choose where I want to post too. So, might as well make do with what I have now. By the way, I’m also doing something related to signals – handle signal comms when outfield…
