In Loving Memory Of

[]

You have left us for 3 years already, but yet the memories of you still lingers on in our minds. Do you know that we still occasionally think of you? Though we have managed to get on with life without you, there would be times when we’re spacing out during classes, or periods of restlessness just before we fall asleep, that we think about how life would have been if you were still around.

You would have been 21 this year. We reckon you would have been out of National Service and gone on to do some relief teaching before term starts in August, like what many of us are currently doing. We knew that teaching had become a passion for you ever since you took up the teaching scholarship back then. Your future was so bright and yours to hold, but till today, we are still confronting the reasons behind your decision. Did you know that your selfish actions have hurt us in every way possible? Your sufferings may have ended but ours are to be borne for a lifetime.

But as you have embark on your next journey in life, know that we would always remember the joy and happiness you have brought into our lives. These memories are bittersweet though as we had to share the grief you have caused us too. Did you know that classes were always so lively and full of chatter when you were around? But since you left us, an awkward silence and melancholy dominated every time lessons started.

We have visited you near this day for the past three year to let you know how we are doing in life. We’re sure you will be relieved to know that we are all doing well, and we hope you’re getting on fine too. However, as we move on to the next phase of our lives, we wouldn’t be sure when we’ll come by again. But know that you’ll always be part of our loving memories, as a schoolmate, a classmate and most importantly, a friend, wherever you are.
