The first step is the hardest but one has got to start somewhere. Many at my age have been down this road before and could even be further along at this stage. Now, it’s finally my turn to go through this rite of passage.

Planning for marriage, a house and kids certainly isn’t child’s play. They are probably the biggest commitments one can have in life, not just financially but also psychologically as life takes a turn in light of one becoming a married man, home owner and father.

While I’m full of trepidation, I also feel a sense of excitement as this new phase of life will soon begin. In fact, most only go through this phase once in their lives, so I guess it’s normal for me to feel both anxious and exhilarated at the same time.
