They say put a frog in a pot of water, start to boil it and the frog wouldn’t even know it’s slowly heading towards its own demise. We’re kinda in a similar situation right now where the water is simmering but not quite enough to kill yet.

Fortunately unlike frogs, we’re not cold-blooded creatures who are seemingly unaware that the temperature is rising gradually. As the temperature climbs, more will hop out of the pot on their own accord even though recalcitrants will hold their ground.

But as the situation becomes more dire each day, no one will be letting up on the heat and undoubtedly, it’ll be cranked up to the point of boiling one day. When that time comes, those who still insist on being in the pot will be cooked alive.
