Six months ago, if you’d asked me what I hope I’d be doing today, I’d have probably told you that I hope I’ll be waiting for work to start or packing for my grad trip. But fast forward to the present day, I’m sadly not doing either; in fact, I’m still stuck in limbo – without a job or purpose.
Honestly, I’d never have imagined or expected myself to end up in such a predicament. It’s easy to blame others, but the fault here admittedly lies with me. Being picky and a tight job market typically don’t go well together, especially without experience as a leverage or bargaining chip.
And even though some fresh grads are still in the midst of job-seeking, it’s no excuse to justify my unemployment. Moreover, it’s been so long since I’ve graduated. So while the gainfully employed are out enjoying their grad trips before work starts, here I am revising my resume and making job applications.
