We’re in the eye of the storm battered by strong winds and torrential downpour. The crew faces one of the most perilous legs of the voyage as disgruntled passengers plan to stage a mutiny and feed the mates to the sharks. Less starry-eyed ones have already abandoned ship for greener pastures. The dark days are upon us.
As the deckhand tries to mollify the mutinous passengers onboard, the mood has somewhat lightened with resentment dropping a notch. While the crew has steadied the ship and pacified its occupants, they are not entirely out of the woods yet as this could well be the calm before the storm resurges.
The light at the end of the tunnel is near – but is that the exit or a train heading right at us? We have to tread gingerly because the undercurrents could just as easily pull this vessel down with everyone onboard without any warning as could an insurrection jettison the mates overboard if unsatisfactory conditions return.
