The country is at a watershed moment. Barely emerging from a crisis and not even out of the woods yet, could we be plunging ourselves into the next one unknowingly? This coming one may be even more long-drawn if we rush headlong without giving much thought and consideration.
Most of us may have been living in relative comfort for the past few years, but that all changed when the coronavirus brought economies worldwide to their knees. Many are upset and aggrieved because their businesses have collapsed, jobs have been lost or people are just bitter they can’t return to their lives before.
While emotions are riding high, we cannot let that sway our decisions. Neither should we think that by sticking with the status quo, we will come out of this stronger. Times are tough, but let’s approach this with a calm and rational mind, especially with the livelihoods of so many at stake.
