I write this as I’m holed up in an AirBnb somewhere in Lower Manhattan after a relatively sleepless first night. Here I am on my 4th solo trip and 2nd time in the US. Things haven’t changed much around here but strangely, I’m still as fascinated by this city.
I’ve still 2 weeks to go till the end of the trip and it has already reminded me of how much planning and research I like to be done on solo trips. Between now and the flight back home, I have a total of 6 flights, 1 train and a coach ride which are all booked for the morning, amongst various connecting services.
Looking back, maybe I should’ve cut down on the number of cities. Then I can hugely relieve myself of the stress that comes with having to be on the move and worrying if I’m gonna be stranded every other day should I miss any of my rides.
