It gets frustrating sometimes when things don’t go your way. Of course, it’s only human nature to feel this way. Then there are instances when you question the intelligence of humanity. It’s exasperating enough when what you expected or were told didn’t turn out as they should be. But when a little common sense would have averted any misunderstanding, it was sorely lacking.
Clarity and consistency are key to clear communications. But with both missing from the equation, it’s chaotic and brings about a lot of head-scratching. Throw more people into the communication loop and it’s most certainly to end up like a game of telephone. Ultimately, everyone loses with the outcome likely to remain status quo.
Sometimes though, it’s like talking to a block of wood because what is said doesn’t quite register. Of course, for it to reach this stage, that ought to be discussions which sometimes happen in a vacuum. And more than likely, with multiple parties involved, these discussions usually hit an impasse. Honestly, rather than wasting my breath, there’s much less grief in turning a blind eye.
