Time is running out

[]

As much as we would like to call it a day on the Australia trip preparations, we were far from it. We still had a whole load of our own equipment to clean before we are done. And of course, bearing the high standards from the AQIS inspection in mind, we had to pick, pull and scrub at every piece of equipment to ensure that they are free of dirt, mud, sand, soil and virtually any other sediments that can contaminate their oh-so-clean environment.

But as compared to the stores, we will have much lesser time to get them done because the days are always interspersed with activities unlike previously where entire days were dedicated to stores-cleaning. Honestly speaking, with such a tight deadline, some of these activities are simply taking up too much time and have absolutely nothing to do with the upcoming Australia trip. We seriously need to reorganize our priorities.

Even if we had manage our time carefully and put in some overtime, there’s simply too much work at hand and we had no choice but to bring them home over the weekend. No doubt this will eat into family time but it was a sacrifice that had to be made. With such a packed schedule next week, it’s really going to take some grit and resolve to get us through.
