Life is not always as smooth-sailing as we want it to be. You can’t expect success every time you venture into something. Failures are inevitable because there’s no such thing as 100% guaranteed success. Even the most experienced have failed once. They say that failure is the mother of all successes and it’s only through failures that we learn how to succeed.
Failure is not the end. Range was always my Achilles’ heel and hence I usually don’t fare well in them. Monday and Tuesday come as no surprise as I failed to clear range. I won’t deny that it was a major disappointment initially as it was not just 2 days of time wasted but 6 months of hard work down the drain.
But looking at it from a positive light, it’s one ordeal over. Although it all comes down to naught in the end, it’s the learning journey that counts. The experience was memorable and I’ll not trade it for anything else. In fact, I don’t blame myself or anyone else because I know clearly that I’ve put in my best effort for the shoot.
You can’t win all the time. Though I have lost, I’m not defeated.
