The week started off on the wrong note. Our discipline standards have dropped drastically and without a doubt, invited trouble from the higher-ups. There were obviously people who were not very happy with our lackadaisical attitude and took matters into their own hands. We had to incur their wrath but we should have already seen this day coming.

During the hour pep talk, we came upon the realization that the dropping standards have truly become a cause for concern. Honestly, we only had ourselves to blame because we were simply not putting in enough effort. We promise we would change for the better and we did (at least for the past few days).

The talk had a great impact but would the effect persist? I don’t know how long it would last before we revert back to the behaviour of yesteryear. It seems that the fiasco had died down after that fateful afternoon. Not even the slightest mention of the incident. But is it really over? Or is there something more sinister lurking in the background?

Whatever the case, we can’t let our guard down like we have done before. Hopefully, this would serve as a stern warning to us. But we must know that if there’s a next time, there would be no mercy shown for we’ll be damned.
