Enjoyment is not a goal

When you are doing something, you should enjoy the process and not the final outcome. Of course, the result is also important but if you don’t have fun doing what you do, you’re probably better off not doing it at all.

This week’s evaluation should have been a 4 days-4 nights event but due to certain constraints, it ended up starting a day late and ending one earlier. We put up a fairly good defence and our mission was quite a success although intermittent downpour kind of dampen everything else. Then, there’s also the attack mission which was quite a major accomplishment.

But all in all, it’s probably due to the sub-par performance and lack of experience by the evaluated unit that made things a little easier for us. In fact, it’s one of most successful evaluation that we’ve executed and goes to ascertain that we’re one of the best units in the armed forces. Definitely a laudable tribute to the ORD specialists and a roaring start for the new ones.

The fun just doesn’t stop.
